Internet cut before change over?

So today is Sunday (we'll technically it's now Monday as it's 4 am). My plusnet order was planned to change the home phone over on the 10th Oct, and the broadband would change on the 11th . we'll around 3 20 am my Internet disconnected and also I got an email saying the home phone is now ready, iv tried to connect to my old Internet (bt) and even installed the plusnet router and tried using the new Internet but no luck any ideas on why this is happening? I thought the broadband was a quick change over lol

I don't know what other members expirenced but mine was down for about 8 hours when I switched over
