Intermittent Connection

We recently came to Plusnet from Talktalk. While the speed is now 37mbps as opposed to the 21mbps with Talktalk, the line seems unstable and connection keep dropping for maybe 40 seconds at a time. Can anyone help?

Phone customer support and have them run tests.

We're not seeing many disconnections on your line (1 in the last 7 days)

 The line is testing fine too.

How are you connecting, wired or wireless?

Plusnet found no errors. I turned the 5Ghz wifi option off in the hub and now it runs perfectly.
Anyone knows why using the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz option should cause frequent pauses in data transfer?

I've seen this on Apple devices, rather than turn off the 5Ghz channel completely did you try unchecking the 'sync' box and splitting the wifi signals?

It is an Apple device I'm using. I've updated the settings with your suggestion and I'll see what happens. Thanks

I tried the non sync option but i was still getting the pauses. Back on 2.4Ghz again with perfect connection.
