Every so often when I am browsing I lose connection and red flashing light comes up on the router.
After a few minutes the blue light comes on and the connection is restored.
This never happened with my previous provider. Is there a problem with my PlusNet router?

The problem seemed to go away after your intervention but it has now become more frequent again.
I never had this issue with Talktalk.
It is not practical to attach the router to the main BT box as that is in the hall. My desktop PC is hardwired to the router which is on BT extension. A network cable also connects all the devices in our living room.
Connecting the router to the main BT plug would require running new network cables all over the house which is not practical.

Hi @stefanjan,
I have ran some checks on your line for you once again. The speed checks are looking fine, but I can once again see drops in your logs. Please can you confirm if you are still connected to the test socket for me please.
If you didn't do this before, you can find a guide on how to do this at https://community.plus.net/t5/Library/Testing-From-The-Master-Socket/ba-p/1322242
