Installation Questions

Hi,
I'm switching from BT Infinity to PlusNet on the 29th Oct. The member's centre is telling me that this will occur after 12. However, no one has told me if an engineer is scheduled to come and/or when. Just that it's looking doubtful if I can get time off work that day.
I'm sure I don't need an engineer visit as everything was installed for BT Infinity and I'll just reconfigure my BT Home Hub 5 with the PlusNet login details.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks
Mike

Re: Installation Questions

As you have fibre already with BT you won't need a engineer  to switch to plusnet fibre, its just a matter of inputting you new login details for plusnet  Wink  That said it might need a nudge from plusnett's side to update thing's.

Re: Installation Questions

Looks like it's progressing fine and won't require an appointment.
If your modem doesn't arrive in the post on time I believe you should be able to get online using the HH5.

Re: Installation Questions

Excellent, thanks Harry.
I'll use the HH5 to start off with and see how I get on.
Thanks
Mike
