IPv6

I've just been connected to Plusnet fibre broadband, I'm using my own router which is a TP-Link TD-W8970. This has an option to enable IPv6, is there any benefit to enabling ?

Re: IPv6

Hey,
Were are not currently using IPv6 at the moment, personally I do not think there would be any benefit enabling. However, other people may disagree.

Re: IPv6

There's a number of us on an IPv6 trial at the moment, but this has been going on for months. There are issues to be resolved before it could be rolled out (it doesn't work properly on all the newer Plusnet gateways) and there doesn't seem to be much progress.
You could try a 6in4 IPv6 Tunnel - see http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,106578.0.html
