I fairly recently renewed my contract with plusnet, but I think this may be my last time. IPv6 support has been long promised and never materialized, and for me, this is an important differentiator between ISPs. So, in readiness for my next contract review I am starting to line up other ISPs.
I am curious to know if I am alone in this, or if others consider iIPv6a "swtich ISP worthy" functionality?

Seeing as I have never failed to connect to any web site because of lack of IPv6 the answer is no. If/when this causes me bother/inconvenience then my answer will probably be different.

Nope, I don't really see the benefit IPV6 will bring me. Though I have never looked into it to be honest.
When I used to run a server from home I just kept my router on all the time and set up a DNS A record. Shame Branson Media don't support a fixed IP like PlusNet do. My IP hardly ever changed so it wasn't a problem.
So when things are working they way I want them to be I don't bother to worry about changing it. That can either be called "lazy" or "time efficient". "time efficient", sounds better doesn't it? 😉

This is starting to become an issue for me, I work in IT and there is more and more interest in IPv6. In fact I am attending an IPv6 course this week but have no way of setting up any native IPv6 comms via PlusNet. It's going to become more and more limiting for my work.
Based on how long it took Plusnet to implement SSL on their smtp and imap services, I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for IPv6. I might just have to move, which would be a shame as I've been with PlusNet for forever.
