How long until bRAS update? (new FTTC)

I got changed over earlier today. It seemed to go very smoothly - off for maybe ten minutes then the modem reconnected. Had to manually reconnect my PPPoE session on the router. But thumbs up so far

However I'm still getting exactly the same download speed as I did on ADSL, although the upload has gone to 18Mbps  . Tested a few times on several testers including BT's.

How long do I have to wait for the bRAS profile to be updated? I guess that is all that's needed. I'm wary of dropping my line and reconnecting at random because I don't want to upset the DLM. BT speed test says "an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details" and can't give me the profile.

Anyway, so far, so (very!) good folks. This is what my modem now tells me:

Can you try a disconnect/reconnect?

That should do the trick.

I love this forum. Just as I'm thinking of asking a question, someone else asks it
However, I'm still stuck on my old ADSL down speed after a router reboot. Booo
(however, I'm getting a solid 15 down/15 up!)
