How long should it take to upgrade

How long should it take to upgrade from unlimited fibre to unlimited fibre extra. I would have thought it was "just" a profile change but obviously not. Ordered 31st Oct and still on lower speed

Those types of upgrades usually tale place on your next billing date.

It happened overnight for me when I upgraded through the Member Centre.

It's possible that my info is out of date, or there might have been a misunderstanding.
What used to happen (but may have changed, so sorry if it has), the product change on the Plusnet side would go through on the next billing date. If that also included a change to how your line is provisioned then the order for that would also be placed.
If you are going from Unlimited Fibre (40/2 or 52/10) to Unlimited Extra (80/20) then that would need an order to BT which are usually next day (or next working day, I can't quite remember). If it is from the Unlimited Fibre (40/20, if there is still anyone provisioned on that) then it would just be a change at the Plusnet side.
