How do I set the Asus RT-N66U to "Always On" for PPPoE?

I have just finished setting up a new Asus RT-N66U router for my fibre optic connection.
It's connected fine, but how do I check and make sure that PPPoE is set to "always on" (as per the plusnet guide?). The Asus set itself up and automatically detected the PPPoE but I cannot find a setting anywhere on the routers control panel.
Any ideas?

Hi there,
Whilst I don't have explicit knowledge of the Asus RT-N66U I do know that not every router has such a setting.

Is there a setting for something like idle timeout? If so setting that to zero will be always on.

The setting is saved once you've configured/its picked up you have a PPPoE connection.
