House move still in contract - no FTTC availability - only FTTP!

Hello,

I am moving house to a new build estate where there's no FTTC availability. They're only serving up FTTP.

My contract doesnt expire until August - am I still expected to pay the monthly exit fees reduced from my usual fibre extra monthly price?

Thanks.

Looking at it logically, it is your decision to move and Plusnet are under no obligation to provide a service to every address, so where is the argument for not being liable for cancellation charges?

Hi @sudosaurus, thanks for getting in touch.

If we are able to provide a service at the new address (even if not the same product as you're on now) and you chose to cancel then I'm afraid termination fees would be applicable here.

The options you'll have would be:

- To move the services with you (choosing an available product) and pay the house move fee, keeping your existing contract.

- To move the services with you (choosing an available product) and get a free house move by renewing your contract.

- To cancel and pay termination fees.

Some customers who have been in this situation previously have moved the service to a family or friends address who could carry out the contract, this could also be an option to consider.

Please just let us know if you have any further queries.
