Been having problems with connections from both my partner's and my own MacBooks. Despite having a strong wifi signal, there is no connection to email or web services for up to 20 - 40 seconds.
From event log this evening:
20:13:00, 25 Jun. OUT: BLOCK [9] Packet invalid in connection (tcp reset attack is suspected: TCP [192.168.1.10]:63097->[212.227.15.138]:993 on ppp3). This is 1and1.co.uk IMAP server.
The hub firewall is also blocking these and other seemingly legitimate IP addresses:
2.16.56.159 -> a2-16-56-159.deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com
104.78.178.30 -> a104-78-178-30.deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com
17.253.37.205 -> uklon6-vip-bx-005.aaplimg.com
Anyone have an idea or suggestion?

Hi there.
It's possible that the router's firewall blocking traffic is a red herring and may not be related to your wireless signal dropping. Could you give the steps Here a go letting us know how you get on?

Thanks Gandalf
My networks are already separate. Two phones and 3 Macs are on 5GHz, with ROKU 2 on 2.4GHz with separate SSIDs
The Mac's wifi icon always shows a good connection when this happens.

Thanks for that @futurethomas.
When the issue occurs, are you able to log in to the router via 192.168.1.254?

Thanks for confirming that for us.
Are you able to connect the Macs to the 2.4 to see if we can replicate the issue there?

Thanks Gandalf. I'll give that a go on my MacBook tomorrow and let you know what happens.
