Re: High packet loss and other DNS issues

Seems I let optimism get the better of me... Packet loss has returned, the families gaming habits are impossible due to lag, latency etc...

Starting to look elsewhere now tbh, not because of the issue but rather from the total lack of clarity here... Just getting frustrated at having to guess when this will work properly again

totally agree not even acknowledged on the site or social media it's ridiculous they should keep us up to date with it but instead they have gone the other direction and angered a lot of people off.

Re: High packet loss and other DNS issues

I honestly don't think anyone from plusnet is looking at this which is a total shame.

Re: High packet loss and other DNS issues

World of Tanks unplayable for me. I've reinstalled the game, checked my Windows 10 system and repaired a few faults, tried a few different dns servers, including fast usa/uk ones and my in-game latency varies from 30-500+ ms. You can't fight a tank battle if you're randomly frozen.

Come on Pn, gives us some sort of honest reply/timescale.

Re: High packet loss and other DNS issues

Wow the issues with PlusNet continue and still no real response from officials.

Not even a real genuine apology for it's atrocious service.

Just goes to show you "We'll Do You Proud" is just an advertising gimmick lol Crazy2

Check out the link: http://downdetector.co.uk/problems/plusnet

From what I can gather PlusNet have had major problems almost every month this year, kind of makes you wonder what the CEO of this shameful company is doing.

If I was the CEO I'd give all my customers free broadband for a year Thumbs_Up

Thank me later lol Grin

Do we think this is as good as it gets now?

Inc. Back to old network speed and loss of the gain of speed of the new networks up to 55 Mb, which in my case gave me 20% more down.

Regarding price reduction I rang PN to see if I were to remain about a reduction a modest reduction was offered but I had to agree to staying a further 24 months.
