Have plusnet or openreach reduced speeds on purpose?
I have a google mesh system which monitors the speed into our house via ethernet daily. This pushes the wifi around our house boosts the signal exceptionally well. However it also tells me the daily speed received which has dropped down from near 60mbs to just under 50mbs. The chat help never works, there is no email facility and when I did finally get through by telephone the agents would not go any further with me as I did not have a 'laptop' with an ethernet connection to test the speed despite my explanation that my speed test is taken by ethernet cable every single day. Does anyone out there know how to resolve this or at least escalate. I realise that i am still getting a reasonable speed but a near 20% drop is noticable in a busy household especially when the proce has stayed the same.

I am located in the north east scotland and my speed dropped from 52 meg average to a steady 40 megs this morning. I mostly use BT wholesale speed tester but other tests confirm a 20% drop here
