Has my line been capped/banded?

After recent loss of broadband service Engineer visited a swapped the pair and did additional work due to multiple faults.

Since getting the connection restored I appear capped at around 62Mbps as checked via Speedtest and Samknows One monitoring, having dropped from previous stable 69Mbps

Current Rate (kbps) 19999 79826 (upload/download)

Max Rate (kbps) 23490 81942

SNR Margin (dB) 15.2 3.3

Line Attenuation (dB) 18.7 9.3

Could a GEA test be done to see what profile the line is now on?

Thanks. Wink

Re: Has my line been capped/banded?

Fix

Hi @vdslguru, it looks like the connection is currently in sync at 76.3Mbps, although it does appear to have been as high as 79.8Mbps as per your post.

The profile on BT's side is 0.128M-80M Downstream, Retransmission Low - 0.128M-20M Upstream, Retransmission Low.

On our side I've made sure it's at the maximum of 78Mbps.
