A BT outreach engineer told me that he had holbury scheduled to be fitted out with FIBRE TO THE POLE I have never heard of this but it would make sense as the copper cables would only have to be 100 feet long to my house. I believe it's already called FTTRN (remote node) and yes it does work like FTTC not FTTP.
