Half speed

I have fibre unlimited up to 76mb, my line speed is 60-80mb but the line has been constantly at a speed of 33.8mb, I have just reset my router but there’s been no change, am I being throttled? I’m not happy I’m not getting the speed I’ve signed up for.

Re: Half speed

Is this a wired or wireless connection you're talking about? If wireless, do you have the same problem wired?

Re: Half speed

Seems to be both. I thought it was my WiFi initially but it’s Ethernet aswell, when I check the line through my plusnet account it is telling me the speed, the below is from the website, not sure how long I’ve been this slow, I had not checked for a while, used to get 75mb constantScreenshotScreenshot

Re: Half speed

I would run through the checks at https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/connection-troubleshooting/ and then report a fault at https://www.plus.net/apps/kbdfaults

It takes a bit of your time but formally makes Plusnet aware of your problem, they have look at it, and gets the problem into the queue for action.

Re: Half speed

Sorry to hear that.

Our tests are showing a external fault on the line so we'll get that raised for you.
