If you drill in to any of the affected services on downdetector then there are comments from people not in the UK too

I also had problems with some sites earlier , but seams to be fixed now.

Completely lost connection here about 30 mins ago.

BIG problems   BF ping goes from 11 to 516 ,, up down up down ,,, impossible to play

Well connection is back up.
Unusual for me to lose DSL as I normally have no problems at all.

The issue reported in this thread didn't knock out DSL and it was only brief in the afternoon. If you lost sync then your problem is unrelated to the one discussed here.

I did think it may be unrelated hence saying so in my first post.

Very unusual for me to have a disconnection at all especially for so long
