speed update 10pm :
<a href="http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4801770099"><img src="http://www.speedtest.net/result/4801770099.png" /></a>
been like that all day
So what ever was done has seemed to solve the peak problems finally.
YAY so now I can watch stuff when I come home from work at night lol.
But yeah Lee it is and the thing is its not plusnet or sky or whoever its all pretty much openreach. Not putting in enough capacity or whatever the issue was damages alot of isp companys reputation with not much consequence for openreach taking its sweet time.
Not saying plusnet is faultless here but the whole debacle felt like that whispers game started by openreach to buy time or put it off.....I dunno lol.
But thanks to plusnet in the end i geuss!!!!
Also to the guy who just hopped in here - Speed was terrible at the weekend in G-rothes esp on sunday. Mine has cleared up now however and is running full tilt both off and on peak.

Yeah, things still good here too.
Worryingly though, they still seem to be mucking about with it. Looks like they did something last night (red line), and following that my average & max ping times crept up slightly.
Throughput still good though, but I'll keep my eyes on it for a few more nights before I can rest easy...

Jesus Christ. I waited 6 months for a fix, then after 11 days of great speeds it's all gone to pot again during peak hours.
You can see that on my live BQM graph in the above post. Bloody infuriating. Any other glenrothes guys experiencing this again?

Hi biglee1974
I too have noticed the same speed drops over the last few days. It was as you said fine for the last few weeks and boom. SLOW.
My wife did say that she saw a Openreach van at our street cabinet today.

Yup I am in Glenrothes and its been less than 1mb down and less than 4mb up the last day or so but seems to have resolved just now. Opened a question with Plusnet because it went on for what seemed like weeks the last time. Fingers crossed.

Eye being kept on it very closely
I don't suppose you Plusnet guys have any idea why this happened again? Especially so soon after the recent issues?
