Hi can someone from Plusnet staff run a GEA test please, about 2 months back i awoke to no dial tone which was reported it came back by the end of the day but i had loss some dowwnload speed it went from 45.6Mb down to 41.8Mb i tried a reboot a couple of days later but it sill held at 41.8Mb.
So I had left the modem until this morning hoping that some time would allow an increase but upon a reboot today it has still held at 41Mb with a minute increase to 41.9Mb lol, checking my Estimate i see that the top end has been increased from 48Mb to 55.5Mb so BTW / Openreach feel that the line could be capable of more but it seems to be holding firm at the 41Mb range almost as if it's banded there.
Does the GEA test show anything is the line banded in anyway or is it as I may suspect just further deterioration of my crappy Aluminium line and or more crosstalk.
Fixed! Go to the fix.
