Just to summarize.
First G.INP was downstream only
Then it was downstream and upstream
Then it was downstream only
Then it was downstream and upstream
Now is it downstream only.
All above is despite having a Draytek 2860n with full support for G.INP down and up, and having perfect stable connection when working.

My cabinet was first enabled at the beginning of June so it didn't ever have G.INP MK1.
A week or so ago I had G.INP applied on the downstream and upstream. A few days ago it was entirely removed. A couple of days ago it was reapplied, but to the downstream only.
I'm now having errors on the upstream again (granted they are small) whereas with G.INP there were none. There's something about me that prefers less errors and more G.INP which doesn't really make sense as the erroring is just being converted to something else but either way it is annoying.
I still don't understand why G.INP was removed in the first place

That's interesting.
It has been recently noticed that some Huawei DSLAMS are having their chipset versions updated.
Mine was updated when the connection resynced at 00:49, 11th August from:-
ChipSet Vendor Id: BDCM:0xa44f
ChipSet VersionNumber: 0xa44f
To:-
ChipSet Vendor Id: BDCM:0xa459
ChipSet VersionNumber: 0xa459
Are you able to confirm whether or not your DSLAM's chipset has been recently updated?

I'm not familiar with the output from a Vigor, so I wonder if the part I have highlighted in red above means the same thing.
Do you know if that has changed quite recently?

I've not been monitoring this data, so no idea if it's changed. Do agree however those numbers appear to be the same.

My interest is that I had G.INP removed from upstream some time ago (as happened to most of us).
My 1100m or so connection generally appeared to suit G.INP on both DS & US & I keep hoping it will be restored for US at some stage.
The recent chipset changes could however be related to preparation for Vectoring being enabled?
That could just be my vain hope though as my connection has been hit quite gradually, but severely by crosstalk over the last couple of years or so.
As per usual, BT's secrecy gives us no indication as to what these recent updates are intended to do for us

I noticed that I've lost a bit of speed somewhere, I just thought it was just down to the lightening we had last week.

That looks suspiciously like you've been put on a 40Mb service...

Hasn't made much difference for me as I had the full 80/20 sync anyway and very few errors, only slight change is my SNR appears to move a little more now fluctuating between 9-10db.
