Full capacity at cabinet.

I want to upgrade to fibre but on checking availability I get the dreaded "Your area is enabled for Superfast Fibre but demand is high on your cabinet right now."

Other than continually checking availability there is nothing you can do?

Re: Full capacity at cabinet.

It might be more productive if you found someone on your council to take this up with. Some councils have a group promoting fibre roll out. You could also try complaining to your MP.

Whilst Plusnet will probably offer comforting words, their business is to flog access to existing facilities.

Fix

Sorry to hear that.

Unfortunately when a cabinet is full there's nothing we can do to get extra capacity added quicker.

Thanks, I have taken up your suggestion and emailed my local councillor about it. Probably no change but it's worth a try.

Re: Full capacity at cabinet.

Depending on what's needed it can take some time.

In some cases it's just extra line cards but in others a entire new cabinet is needed which will need planning permissions and so on.
