Wondering if anyone else has experienced this same issue and were they able to get Plusnet to do anything about it...
For years, I had a stable FTTC internet connection with a DS lync speed around 76000Kbps and an upstream one of 19999Kbps where the upstream and downstream SNR hovered between 5-7 dB. However, about a year ago for no apparent reason whatsoever, my downstream lync speed dropped by almost 10K to 66997Kbps and the SNR has gone up to a consistent 8-9 (no change in the upstream SNR or lync speed). I've tried manually tweaking the SNR delta (-20) but no matter what I do, it still syncs at 8-9 dB.
I raised a ticket with Plusnet about this issue almost a year ago and was told that this should eventually fix itself (DSLAM should kick in). However, it's been more than a year and nothing has changed and so I am wondering if there's anything I can do to get Plusnet or BT to try and get the modem to lync back in the upper 70000KBps range like it did for years and years?
Any help or advice in terms of getting this fixed, or just getting Plusnet to understand and acknowledge the problem would be most appreciated.
For reference, attached below is a readout from the modem/router on the current status of the VSDL connection.... as you can see, the difference between the max attainable and actual DS rate is quite huge and the DS SNR ratio is 9dB -- more than enough to support a stable connection... I am using a Draytek 2860n router with the latest firmware I should add.

Hi there.
Our tests are showing your line to be banded at 67mbps and we're detecting a potential cable fault on the line which would likely be causing this. I've reported this through to Openreach and we've been given an estimated response time of by 05/03/19 23:59:59 for an engineer to go out and investigate further.
Let us know how your speeds look over the next few days.
For visibility I've attached the test results below if you're interested:

Thanks Gandalf. Appreciate you looking into the issue and acknowledging that something may actually be wrong rather than giving me the standard DSLAM "wait and see if it improves" or "your speeds are within the expected range" response...
I will definitely keep my eye on the speeds and let you know if I see any change.
Cheers!
