For the last few weeks I am losing connection to the internet very frequently to the point now where it is getting pretty annoying. When I look in the log of my router I see the following
38 | 2020-03-09 10:28:25 | DSL | Notice | xDSL Ready!! |
39 | 2020-03-09 10:28:22 | DSL | Notice | xDSL Leave Showtime!! |
40 | 2020-03-09 10:28:18 | PPP | Error | ppp0 |
41 | 2020-03-09 10:28:18 | PPP | Error | ppp0 User request |
42 | 2020-03-09 10:28:18 | DSL | Notice | xDSL Handshake!! |
43 | 2020-03-09 10:28:15 | PPP | Information | ppp0 sent [LCP TermReq id=0x3 "User request"] |
44 | 2020-03-09 10:28:14 | DSL | Notice | xDSL Ready!! |
45 | 2020-03-09 10:28:12 | PPP | Information | ppp0 sent [LCP TermReq id=0x2 "User request"] |
46 | 2020-03-09 10:28:12 | PPP | Warning | ppp0 LCP down |
47 | 2020-03-09 10:28:12 | PPP | Error | ppp0 LCP down |
48 | 2020-03-09 10:28:12 | PPP | Error | ppp0 User request |
49 | 2020-03-09 10:28:11 | DSL | Notice | xDSL Leave Showtime!! |
When this occurs, after a few minutes my connection is restored. My router is a TP-LINK VR900 and up until the last few weeks has been rock sold. I have just switched to a TP-LINK TD-W9980 but having the exact same issue.
I have a BT MK3 socket with no other internal wiring ie router straight into the DSL socket.
Would someone from Plusnet be able to assist with this please?
Thanks
Mike
