Frequent disconnections (maybe 4-5 times today already),

I switched to Plusnet about a month ago and originally had a reasonably good connection with occasional drops, but in the last week or two it seems to have gotten much worse. I have been having numerous disconnects per day.

Looking at the router stats my connection speed seems to have raised from around 58mbit to currently 67 ish in that time. With a corresponding reduction in downstream margin from about 6 down to 3db. Obviously the line doesn't like this very much.

I was happy with the speed and stability at 6db (I wouldn't be too keen to have it drop way back to 10+db or something). Not sure why it isn't automatically adjusting really with all the disconnections.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Frequent disconnections (maybe 4-5 times today already),

Hi there @fmoon Smiley

If you haven't already done so, I would first advise having a run through our troubleshooting steps here:  https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/connection-troubleshooting/ and getting your router connected into the test socket for the time being as shown here: https://community.plus.net/t5/Library/Testing-From-The-Master-Socket/ba-p/1322242

If the issues then persists after being in the test socket for 48hrs, please log a fault here with us: https://faults.plus.net and someone from our Faults Team will be in touch.
