Fibreoptic only Internet keeps disconnecting

Hi there Smiley Anybody would be so kind and assist me please Smiley I have a fibreoptic broadband connection which keeps disconnecting my internet. Than it stays off for a few minutes and comes on again. I am not talking about wireless is dropping. It's the internet disconnecting. I thought first it's a faulty cat5 wire between the BT box and the Router so I replaced it but it's the same. Internet light goes red and reconnects and goes green again. My phone line is clear. No noise. The disconnection happening throughout the day. And it's happening since i Started the contract. But as I am using my internet now quite often it starts to annoy me lol
