Fibre upgrade

I have just received confirmation by e-mail that my fibre upgrade is now complete, however I have not yet received my new router. This e-mail is the only feedback I have had since I ordered the upgrade. Could I please have some confirmation that the router is on it's way and if possible an eta? I don't want to wait and then find that the order has gone missing or something.

Good Afternoon, 

 

I've taken a look at things and it seems our system has sent you that email a little bit early, today was the requested upgrade date however due to the availability of engineers, this has been moved back to the 12th of October, an engineer is assigned though so this should go ahead with further issues.

 

Your router is on it's way and should be with you shortly.

Does that mean I need an engineer to visit my home for this upgrade?

the engineer is assigned to do the work at the local PCP(Green cabinet), once that work is done, you'll be on the FTTC service

Make sure you are not billed the extra for the fibre upgrade before it actually goes live!
