Fibre switch date given wrong

Was told it would take 10 days. But now told it's end of the month now. Why give a made up date. Not good Sad

It caused me as many problems by their switching me on earlier than my pay-day date I'd ordered it for. Since then I've tried catching up every month but so far I've never been in the position to pay it twice in one month. They won't alter the date either.

Sorry to hear of the delay with your fibre activation.

A lot of activations happen within 10 working days, but from time to time it can take longer due to engineer availability.

@Gandalf Makes perfect sense.
Most activations happen 10 days
From time to time there is a delay.
I'm the unlucky one and was misinformed?

I'm sorry if you were guaranteed the upgrade within 10 days.

Engineer availability sadly isn't within our control.

Im cancelling it I'm not waiting that long. A new line would have been quicker.

I think you are wrong there, a new line would probably take even longer and would still be dependent on engineer availability but you go ahead and cancel if that's what you want.Wink
