Sorry to hear of the delay with your fibre activation.
A lot of activations happen within 10 working days, but from time to time it can take longer due to engineer availability.

Most activations happen 10 days
From time to time there is a delay.
I'm the unlucky one and was misinformed?

I think you are wrong there, a new line would probably take even longer and would still be dependent on engineer availability but you go ahead and cancel if that's what you want.
