Fibre speed low since change of modem

Following a lightning strike my modem was replaced around 2 weeks ago, since then there has been no increase in speed (currently stuck around 46mps ) I was getting well into the 50's before.
A Bt man popped by about a 10days ago (checking lines in area) checked my line and said there were no problems and i should easily be getting 54mps from the local exchange.
Bt speed check (attached) seems to suggest i should be getting much more than this
Can someone look into this and advise me how to increase my ip profile or speeds.
Ive raised a ticket but have had no response

What is the BT test site saying your ip profile is set to? http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ do the normal test and then click on the further diagnostics.

Hi Slavo
the test is showing ip profile as 46.23
No where near the 54mps i was getting previously
Plusnet say there is no fault as im within 25% of what is possible (i.e 60mps)
Cant say i really understand this - why cant the IP be reset
Would it help if i restarted my router?

Sorry to hear of the trouble you're encountereing with your fibre speeds.
I believe that the issue may relate to a profiling issue within Openreach, and as such I have raised this with them
I have checked the line via http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome and can see no reason why your speeds should not be much higher
As soon as we have an update from BT we will be back in touch
