Fibre speed down to ~2Mbps this evening

Hi guys,

my internet is very slow this evening, down to ~2Mbps instead of the usual 12/13Mbps. According to the 'status' page there are no known issues with broadband. All my devices show the same speed, is something going on?

Our tests aren't showing any cause for this.

Are you testing over a wired or wireless connection?

If wireless can you try a wired connection?

Hi guys,

I've just been testing the speed and it seems to be up to ~12Mbps again. One test returned ~35Mbps, which I think is impossible! We tested the speed on many devices the other day, the wireless works fine and is unlikely to be so broken it was the bottleneck. I suppose it isn't ruled out....

Hi @danieljohn those tests look fine, especially for a wireless connection. The one at 35Mbps is likely just a bit of an inaccurate reading which can happen from time to time on speed testers.
