I've been a plusnet unlimited fibre customer for some years now and was regularly getting around 38mbit/s. Yesterday I signed up to a new contract for unlimited fibre with plusnet with the same deal as before (to avoid the price rise coming in June).
Now I find my speed has dropped by half and is only around 17mbit/s. Nothing else has changed hardware/software wise. I received the email from plusnet informing me that the new contract was in force this morning so I was wondering if someone could look into it.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Can I ask where you are seeing the speeds of 17Mbps and if this is on a devices connecting via a Wired Ethernet cable or through your WiFi?
Kind Regards,

Just checked using network cable and the connection speed is as it should be. Curiously enough I also checked my smartphone connection speed, it also reports normal speed. Looks like there may be an issue with the wifi card on my pc.
Thanks for the help, I guess this was just a weird coincidence.
