Re: Fibre problems

Hi Mjnorman01 and welcome to the Community Forums,
I've had a check into your connection and although there have been a few drops over the last few days it doesn't seem to be anything causing by issues on the line as when checking your connection to the router everything is looking spot on.

image14944211676574
The speed we are getting to the router is:
71.2 Mbps download
16.1Mbps upload
With no trace of errored seconds.

Can I ask, is it mainly wireless devices you use? As it could be solely just be the wifi signal being interfered with which can be tweaked for improvements.

Kind Regards,

Ben

Re: Fibre problems

not a lot :-).

3 to 4 people on Ipads/Iphones

3 IpTV boxes

2 Pc's

1 Laptop

and a gaming mad person who use to suck up all the bandwidth until we got Fibre....

Re: Fibre problems

OK, So I assume you'll know about all of the people and devices mentioned in the log you posted. The WiFi is secure isn't it?

Re: Fibre problems

Yes it is:-)

all the devices are accounted for.... However i only have 9 devices connected all the time, the rest are Guest that come over.

3 teenagers with lots of friends who pop over and connect into the wifi.

i do have my DHCP lease time set to the max because i was getting a lot of IP address renewing errors in the log file.

Re: Fibre problems

If this router supports IPv6, then turn it off, (as I assume you are not part of IPv6 trial,) along with the IPv6 support in your devices (if you can be bothered).

Re: Fibre problems

cant see anywhere where you would disable IPV6

only ULA wich is recommend (according to the router) as enabled.
