Fibre loosing connection 4 or 5 times an hour

Hi there,

I am new to this Fibre Broadband but here goes

My Fibre was activated on Saturday morning and every since, the internet keeps cutting off (4 or 5 times an hour)

I have watched the router and the light flashes red, the Red b light iluminates for a min or two. and then after a few mins the connection is back.

I know that the speed can vary up and down for the first 10 days or so as it is adjusting but surly this would not cause this?

I have trued rebooting / switching off etc.

I have upgraded from ADSL and i never really had a problem with the connection (Just slow)

I dont have any extensions and I have the faceplate that is split so dont need the micro filters

Any suggestions

@spantony1980 Welcome to the forum.

These disconnections shouldn't be happening. Run through the checks at https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/connection-troubleshooting/ and then report a fault at https://www.plus.net/apps/kbdfaults

It takes a bit of your time but makes Plusnet aware of your problem and gets the problem into the queue for action.

Thanks for the info. I just didnt know where to start.

Done what you have suggested and a ticket logged as there is a fault on the line.
