I've been getting this problem on and off for a few months now. Plusnet sent me a new Router, in my case a Sagemom 2704 which seemed to resolve the issue for a couple of weeks but now it's back again.
It was especially annoying today as I'd just uninstalled/reinstalled some software so initially thought it was something I'd done & wasted a good 45 minutes troubleshooting. It was only when I fired up a laptop to google any answers that I found it was the internet connection that had gone again. The usual power down/power up solved to problem (for now?) but it's really not good enough and hopefully someone at Plusnet will come up with a complete fix (possibly a Hub One). I've just installed one for a friend who joined Plusnet at my suggestion and it seems FAR superior to the Sagemom 2704 / BT Modem I have to put up with (anyone at Plusnet listening??)
