Fibre Speeds

Hi all. New to the community and fibre BB .had it three days now and speed has increased from 6mbps to 8mbps . I'm on a guaranteed 34mbps line. I realise I would have to wait 10 days for maximum speed but expected a reasonable increase from standard BB in the first coup!e of days .  Is this normal or could something be wrong as 2mbps isn't much of an increase at all .

It looks like there may be a fault on your connection. There is no 10 training period for fibre. You should get the maximum from you line from day one. Maybe a plusnet member of staff could take a look at this for you .

Sorry to hear that you're speeds aren't as expected.

Unfortunately this is because your fibre order hasn't completed yet so you're still on standard broadband.

The order is due to complete on the 18th so you should see higher speeds from then.
