Fibre Speeds

Hi,

I've recently just changed from Sky 76mb Fibre to Plusnet 76mb fibre. 

During peak times my download drops to 26mb from around 50-70mb. When I was Sky this never happened, do PlusNet throttle connections during peak times?

I've tested after restarting the router, checking the wiring. I've also tested using wireless and also wired connections, exactly the same.... Not impressed!

Hi Nathan.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing connection problems. We don't throttle your speeds.

Testing your line is showing your router in sync at 80mbps and there's no signs of congestion issues at the exchange.

It looks like there's a lot of usage running through your connection yesterday and whilst this perfectly fine, if you're running a speed test at the same time it'd inevitably report a slower speed.

Can you run a speed test for us at www.speedtest.btwholesale.com, completing the further diagnostics at the end?
