Fibre Router keeps rebooting daily

Anyone know why the Fibre Router keeps rebooting at least once a day? It sometimes reboots unto 5 times a day for no known reason. The logs just show the reboot process.....no signs or indication of any problem, attacks or signal to reboot.

 

It is causing my massive issues as I work from home and I can't rely on using Skype. I have to apologise frequently after dropping off Skype !!!!! Very annoying.

 

btw, there is no connection between the reboots and Skype. It reboots even when nothing is happening on the WiFi.

  • Does the router light change when the router reboots? If so, what too?

 

  • The drops you are seeing are the same as what we can see at our side shown below?

Light goes orange. Logs show  pretty much the same every time.

Did it again at 18:16 (router time). These are usually preceded by a bunch of CWMP messages.

My logs show the same dates and times as you so it has been pretty stable recently. Only rebooting every 2 days !!!

Hello @abarnfield123, sorry to hear you are experiencing a problem with your connection. We have located an external fault and raised this with our suppliers, who have given us an estimated response time of 08/08/2018by 17:00pm.

 

Keeping in mind this is the very latest an engineer would be out to investigate the issue and it could be resolved sooner.
