Fibre Max Achievable Speeds

Just joined Plusnet after a really bad experience with BT, my broadband speeds with BT were approx 23mbps download / 5.5mbps upload. My speeds now with Plusnet are around 26mbps download . 1.8mbps upload (max achievable speeds 27 / 2. I assume this can be altered to a better upload speed or should I just leave it? (checked using BT Wholesale Performance Test).

Re: Fibre Max Achievable Speeds

PlusNet's Fibre Options are either 40/2 or 80/20, But as you don't get above 40 on your download then it is unlikely they will move you on to the higher speed product. BT's Infinity is based on a 40/10 product, hence why you got a higher upload speed with them.

Re: Fibre Max Achievable Speeds

Thanks for quick reply, it is not a problem, I just wondered why it was different.
