Had fibre instal completed this morn. Went ok according to engineer, should get close to max 38mb as so close to cabinet. Be great as prev 2mb due to very long line. I know I'm being a bit too eager but any chance someone at PNet can give profile nudge to up to fibre rate. Be great if you could.

That should be sorted now, I've added the discounts agreed to your account and changed your service over to fibre. You may need to log in to the router and press disconnect/reconnect for the higher speeds to come through.

Thanks a million Chris. Disconnected & reconnected. BT speed check now gives 37.8mb down 13.3mb upload. Mega after years of 2mb. BT profile showing as 77mb I assume this normal as I'm on 40mb service.

Yeah that's pretty much right Plusnet cap the speed at their end for the 40Mb product

Thanks Terranova667 that's what I assumed. So far things fine & dandy. After 9yrs of 2mb today was much anticipated & hasn't disappointed.
