Just a quick update, no change this week. Still poor speed in the evening, this will be very disappointing if I can expect no change until 23/11.

Our supplier has been made aware that your VLAN migration has not completed. 

They've sent the report over to the Complex Fault team to review and asked us to check back in 24 hrs. 

Please accept my apologies, and thank you for the patience and understanding you have shown whilst we have been working on this issue.

Thanks for the update @MasterOfReality. I have had an answerphone message from you guys which I appreciate. They said that the move off the hot VLAN might be possible. I guess they might have done that for me now as the evening speeds are improving.

On the attached graph the previous difference between day / evening speeds is obvious.

Will keep an eye on things until the end of November when the exchange has had the upgrade work done.

For completeness and to conclude this thread. The faults team confirmed I was on a hot VLAN, and I have now been moved. Things are now back to normal with low latency and speeds consistently at close to 40mb/s
