Recently upgraded from unlimited fibre to unlimited fibre extra and my speed has actually gone down from 50Mbps to 45 Mbps.
Anybody else found this to be the same for them ?
Fixed! Go to the fix.

What FTTC product were you on before going to fibre extra? You can't get more than 40Mbps on standard fibre, were you on the rare 55/10 service. In that case you won't get any increase by going to fibre extra.
What does the checker state for your phone number https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/

Hi @leef500,
I'm sorry to hear that your speed has dropped following your move to fibre extra. I've tested your line and it's currently syncing at 47.8mbps down. As this is within the estimated speed for the line, we're unable to investigate this any further I'm afraid.
In terms of our unlimited fibre accounts, these are normally provisioned on 40/10, so a maximum sync speed of 40 down and 10 up. However, it sounds like you may have previously been on the legacy 55/10 fibre product.
