Engineer booked for tomorrow (15/05) in the morning...so fingers crossed that he sorts out the problem...

Openreach engineer has just finished...He tinkered at the house a bit, then tinkered at the cabinet, and now my speeds are back up at the speed they used to be, circa 45Mb, and the line looks like it is completely free of any noise/interference issues...
So, thanks for the speedy resolution...everything is looking good now!
