Fibre Extra Upgrade ... Same Speed

Had an email this morning saying the order has been completed.

 

 

Have rebooted the router .... but my test results are still 38Mb/s download and 13.5Mb/s upload

 

Can you check the order has in fact completed?

Hi there, I've just checked the account and both the order with our suppliers and the necessary changes to our systems have gone ahead as expected to allow the upgrade. 

 

If things still haven't changed from your point of view I'd try rebooting the router again then testing speeds over a wired connection to the router.

Hi. I've had the same experience - Received e-mail but no speed upgrades.

 

Been running tests through my Google Router remotely and still getting the old speed (30-37)

 

Could you confirm my order went through?

I rebooted the router again and over a wired connection I'm getting 53.8Mb download and 13.8Mb upload

 

So the upgrade has gone through.  But is this the best speeds I can expect?

My speeds have changed a little over the last few days ... now getting 50.2Mb download and 18.7Mb upload.

 

 

Does seem a little low on the download side.

 

Could you do a line check from your end?

I've tested your line today and while we're not finding a definitive cause for the slow speeds you're experiencing, your router is in sync at only 56.5mbps which is below where we'd expect them to be of at least 65.5mbps.

Could you try the steps Here and if you don't see an improvement, please report a fault to us at http://faults.plus.net
