Fibre Broadband speed has dropped big time?

Hi Folks,

I've noticed that my Fibre Broadband speed seems to have dropped by a considerable margin, even though (to my knowledge) nothing has changed on my account etc. Plusnet reports that 73-80mb should be available in my area going by postcode + phone number

I've been looking in the stats page on my Draytek 2850n VDSL router after noticied slower speeds and my Data Rate has fallen to 57mb. Where's the other 20 megs gone, I'm nearly losing a whole other fiber connection there!

Any one got ideas? Is there any reason the upstream stops at 20, rather than the 25 it can supposedly attain?

Our tests aren't showing any obvious cause for this.

I was just trying to get a WBC speedtest run from the BT site, it says it cant run one against my phone number?

I'll go through the faults page now, but it definitely feels like something isnt right here.

edit: Apparently my conenction is on a different phone number to what I think my home phone number is, how can i find out my phone number (supplied by PN) as i dont actually own a landline phone.

ok got the number, however since i don't have a phone i cant answer the 'Is the dial tone clear' question on the fault checker.
