Fibre Broadband disconnected suddenly

Fibre Broadband disconnected suddenly

Hi there from Ipswich
Everything was working for many months and today 6th of March Internet disappeared. Router is in orange and tries to reconnect from time to time, but no luck. Tried to use another couple of routers - the same result. Very frustrating.
Are there some some network outages?

have same probelm rubbish router can i use BT router on PlusNet i was told you can by BT sales

It is not a router as such, but the problem with Plusnet service/equipment. I have tried two other routers and have the same problem. Direct PPPoE test shows the following message:
"Could not find a PPPoE server."
It is definitely network problem either on Plusnet or BT side.

have you tired BT router they use as that meant to be the market leader router

BT router could be just OK for average usage but definitely can't provide more advance stuff. But the point is that the service itself is down.

You should raise a fault with Plusnet.
Either by calling Plusnet or https://faults.plus.net
