Blujay5

thats a very valid point, why are so many of us experiencing the same issues, with fibre / broadband dropping out!

mine started after receiving an email about going faster, think they probably meant to say we will be going slower!

its become a real pain again this weekend

How is your phone line, have you tried the quiet line test, dial 17070 option 2?

Have you considered actually getting in touch with PN and reporting a fault?

Nothing wrong with my phone line!

run quiet test all ok.

Yes I have been in touch with PlusNet and Yes they actually ran a check last Sunday, 3rd December And said a fault was on the line, but not at my property!

the speed is up & down, my speed has always been slow but not this slow

heard nothing all week, they contacted me Friday night, and said unscrew box etc etc, still the same.

seems very odd to me that they tell everybody to unscrew these master sockets!

They also said they can see all my drop outs, and they said would monitor line

Re: Fibre Broadband continually dropping out, real nuisance!

The engineer came bang on time.

He was here over 2 hours, before deciding it was a fault with too much power coming from the cabinet.

I don't even know what that means, but yesterday the broadband never dropped out.

He went on to tell me if it goes again, it is almost certainly the router, so ask for a new one off Plusnet.

That's all I have regarding this.
