Fibre Broadband Speed/Leaving Plusnet

So I've been with plusnet for a few years now and I've noticed I'm getting download speeds of about 33-37mb. Since day 1 I've been paying for the upto 75mb service. Seeing I'm only getting upto 40mb have I been over paying all this time? Also has anyone got any experience of leaving plusnet?

Your connection is provisioned on 80/20 and there's nothing on the account that would be capping the speeds at 40.

I can't see that you've ever been in touch with us to raise a fault for slow speeds, however I've just tested your connection and it is in sync at 79.9 Down and 20 Up.
