Feels like I'm banging my head off a wall.
Had Plusnet at my home address since October 2015. Up until last month I have always got 38mb download and 1.8mb.
Since early May it suddenly dropped and it's never once done this all the time I've had Plusnet.
I've had various conversations with Plusnet support who say the issue is down to me.
To take their word for it, I've checked absolutely everything:
- Used my Plusnet router.
- Checked internal wiring.
- Connected via Ethernet.
Download fluctuates from 28mb to 34mb and upload from 0.5mb to 1.2mb which isn't acceptable in a home where we watch internet TV Gaming and other devices.
It is very frustrating because I've had an excellent service and it has deteriorated massively in the last month.
My dad lives about 7 miles from me, he lives closer to his fibre box than me and his speeds haven't dropped. I suspect a BT engineer or something has tampered with my local box in the last month but as I am one guy shouting no one is going to listen.
Well this one guy will be going elsewhere when his 18 month contract is up.
