Fast upload, slow download

There is no way it is a local issue. Seems to be pretty much national from posts I have seen around the internet.

I'm at home and on cable - so no point in testing that.

I'll be over my parents later today (who are on PlusNet) so I will give it a test to see if they have the problem.

Same here in South Cumbria. Started going slow last night and is still slow all this morning. As of 12:34pm I'm getting downloads of 0.06mps!! Upload is absolutely fine as is ping. Definitely a network issue somewhere.

im having the same problem in southend on sea....im on a 75meg package and get about 50mps usually

did a bt wholesale test and i get 4.6 meg./1.5meg on wifi. spoke to customer service who did a linetest and the said there was not a problem with the line...but that a lot of people were having the same problem

In days gone by one of the members of the team supporting the forums was always on call so that when significant issues cropped up out of normal hours a service status post could be made - and sometimes CS seniors made service status posts themselves.

Plusnet's communication with it's users is definitely getting worse.

There are people having the exact same issues all over the nation (Poor DL normal UL see Twitter etc..), so even though you seem to be ok, it is nationwide.

yes they have been known to avoid posts,   but what most likely is that all staff are stuck to the phones

They tell you to try social media     well thats not working either 50 minute wait still  time 14.29
