Factory reset on Technicolour 582n and now can't log in

My son (honestly) has tried to change the password for our Technicolour router, but mucked up. We can no longer log in. So we thought a factory reset would fix this, but since we have done that we cannot login using the CPXXXXXXXX serial number either.

Re: Factory reset on Technicolour 582n and now can't log in

After your factory reset, when you now open your computer's web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox etc.) what exactly do you see:
a) The Broadband Setup page or
b) The Technicolor Login Screen?
